Welcome to Currency Creek Cottages! Located only 20 minutes’ drive from Victor Harbor and situated in 14 acres of rolling green countryside, our self-catering family accommodation is the ideal base for exploring Victor Harbor, Goolwa, McLaren Vale and the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.

Our Victor Harbor Holiday Accommodation

Currency Creek Cottages is made up of three self-contained properties all on the one site: The Farm, The Dairy and The Cottage.

 

The Cottage and The Farm can either be rented individually, or together for larger parties. In addition, if you are staying in The Farm you can also rent The Dairy, which provides another six beds. This means that parties of up to 14 people can be accommodated together across all three properties.

The Farm

The Farm was built in 1894 and is designed in the classic country cottage style. However, it has been extended and renovated to the highest modern standards while still retaining its essential character.

 

Featuring two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting room, dining room. living room and undercover outdoor areas, this is a spacious property where the whole family can both spend time together and enjoy privacy and space as well.

 

Boosted wi-fi is available throughout, as well as smart TV, so you can stay connected throughout the duration of your stay.

 

You can go boating and fishing in the adjacent Currency Creek, or take the short 20 minute drive to Victor Harbor where you can find some of the state’s most popular tourist destinations and activities.

The Cottage

Designed to sleep families of up to 4 people, The Cottage has spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, and is fully modernised throughout.

 

The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing family meals a pleasure, or make use of the outdoor barbecue or fire pit for more informal family gatherings. 

 

With smart TV and boosted wi-fi throughout, there are always plenty of indoor entertainment options, or if you want more of the open air, you can go boating or fishing on Currency Creek. or take a hike through the 14 acre grounds.

 

There is always plenty to see and do on the Fleurieu Peninsula, and with Victor Harbor a short twenty minute drive away, there is no need of options for the whole family to enjoy. 

What to see and do in Victor Harbor

Victor Harbor is one of South Australia’s most enduringly popular holiday and tourist destinations. 

 

Take the horse-drawn tram to Granite Island, marvel at the miraculous views at The Bluff lookout, or ride the oldest steel railway in Australia.

 

Victor Harbor is also home to a variety of boutique wineries, traditional style pubs and gourmet dining experiences. 

 

If this isn’t enough to entice you to you to Victor Harbor, you can also take the family whale watching, walk the Heysen Trail, or take in the beautiful beaches and coastline on the Encounter Bike Trail.
